本港食水調升20%氯氣助殺毒
新型冠狀病毒疫情持續擴散,水務署近日在食水中增加氯氣含量,經處理食水的餘氯含量由每公升1毫克升至約每公升1.2毫克,以加強保障食水在輸送和貯存過程中保持清潔衛生。水務諮詢委員會主席陳漢輝表示,食水輸送過程有可能受病毒污染,在食水中增加氯氣含量,可增強殺菌及病毒功效,但仍符合世衛飲用水指標。
